Winter Beverage Station

I love to make hot chocolate in the winter, and it is just now getting cold enough. Last night we made hard apple cider after dinner (Thank you, October weather) and it was amazing.

Shari from Turnstyle Vogue, has a great idea about making those cozy winter nights in a whole lot more convenient–and ever-ready for guests, too.

She makes a winter beverage station! Cute little decorated containers full to the brim with all the staples. You’ve got your hot chocolate, your marshmallows, biscotti, and coffee. Personally, I would add some hot apple cider, and maybe some whiskey or brandy to mix-in–but that last bit is obviously optional, and crowd specific.

I love how decorative, and leave-it-there-for-the-whole-season this set up accommodates. One good burst of creativity on a Sunday afternoon, and I’m good for months on the beverages. Not to mention, I cannot WAIT to go antique shopping to find cute little containers!

Bring on the Winter parties, I’m there! 🙂
